@NytoP2PMwangi Perfumes are restricted because they are flammable liquids, these are measures taken to minimize fire risks,if you've ever heard of a shoe bomber then you'll realize why shoes and belts are checked, this is aviation security not dehumanization.
@polo_kimanii Wetangula should know that parliament constitutionally is not an extension of the executive, this is a body that should oversight the executive and making favourable laws,he should not misuse his leadership in the national assembly.
@gpdkaluma Bad leadership doesnot become good just because your side is now in government. We must call out bad governance regardless of our political allegiance. The cooperation arrangement that is already facing backlash in courts cannot be the only saviour we should praise, incompetence!!

@gpdkaluma After the death of Baba,Oburu was appointed interim Party leader, and he is on record saying he will leave the party leadership to the young leaders in the party,it's a high time he honours his promise,we want young and vibrant leaders to take leadership,ODM is people's Party.
@gpdkaluma We all know Sifuna very well,we all know what he stand for,and we also acknowledge that extortion allegations are also part of your criteria to brand him a bad character,We are not buying that nonsense buana Kaluma.

@TheODMparty Why are you not addressing other issues Senator raised like the funding of Linda ground rallies?,Sifuna addressed the issues questioning the legality of rising to party positions, how a coalition negotiation committee ought to be formed according to ODM constitution.
@RobertAlai It is Oburu who is reducing himself to this level,Sifuna raised substantive issues that ought to be looked upon,it just hurt Oburu's fragile ego because his rise to party leader position was also questioned, instead of him accepting that indeed NDC ought to be called,he is hurt.

Jakom, it is nearly three months since you left. Many of us are no closer to overcoming this loss than we were two months ago. Indeed, your larger than life profile and the impact you had on us and the nation, means we may never stop mourning.
As it is your birthday today, we find occasion to pause in mourning, in deep reflection and gratitude, to celebrate the life of the most iconic leader this nation has ever produced.
The 80 years Raila lived represent a sum total of courage, sacrifice and an uncompromising belief in freedom and justice, the pursuit of which Raila neither wavered nor relented.
However, as we reflect, we also take stock of these past two months, a period in which the ideals and principles by which Raila lived and conducted his politics, have been violated by an emerging culture of impunity, intolerance, dictatorship and a conspiracy of silence in the face of threats to multiparty democracy.
As the country’s foremost second liberation warrior, Baba was the acknowledged father of multipartyism and the new constitution, which gave birth to devolution; two facets of Kenyan life that were meant to lessen government influence on our daily lives and to share out national resources equitably.
Multiparty democracy was intended to be a smooth avenue to free expression and choice, in which the identities and ideologies of political parties would remain distinct and independent, giving rise to a political environment of robust and diverse opinion. It is no wonder Baba insisted that we include respect for multiparty democracy and the integrity and identity of all political parties in the MoU he signed with president Ruto.
His death has created a platform for regression and shrinking of this space he envisaged, and more than ever, the country misses the wisdom and foresight of Baba, whose navigation of this space was supreme and unmatched.
Despite this, it behoves all of us he mentored and nurtured , to stand firm on principle and to lead a new political renaissance that seeks to align with the preamble of our constitution; which affirms the sovereignty of the people, celebrates our diversity and commits to rights, equality, democracy, social justice and the rule of law.
We do not have the luxury of rest, nor do we possess any fear in pursuit of Raila’s ideals. Raila Odinga was consistent in standing with the oppressed, speaking truth to power and in placing country before self, even when the personal cost was unbearably high.
In moments when compromise was convenient, he chose principle. In moments when silence was safer, he chose resistance. And on his birthday, we his students, as well as political and ideological mentees renew our dedication to the principles he stood for, as we honour his memory and legacy by staying the course on this path he charted for us.
His birthday warms our hearts immensely and makes us proud to have known him and learned at his feet.
Happy birthday Baba!
This is why we insist on institutional reforms. A country cannot stand when its justice system behaves like this.
If the DCI and ODPP can drag people to court on a murder charge without even verifying the basic facts, then we are looking at institutions that are not just failing but also rotting from within. Murder is the highest criminal accusation in our law. It demands precision, thoroughness, and integrity.
What we witnessed instead is reckless guesswork dressed up as prosecution.
These are the same institutions that should be defending the rule of law, not abusing it.
When investigators don’t investigate and prosecutors don’t scrutinise, justice becomes a lottery and citizens become collateral damage
The Office of the Deputy President has overspent its budget by 50%. In just three months, they’ve blown through Sh1.1 billion against an allocation of Sh743 million. Three months. Sh1.1 billion. For an office that produces nothing, solves nothing, and spends its days in political theatre.
This is a cash-burning festival at the expense of a starving country. While Kenyans tighten belts, this office expands its stomach. While hospitals lack drugs and universities collapse, they find new ways to chew more than Parliament ever approved.
If this is how they treat public funds in one quarter, what will a full financial year look like? A runaway train with no brakes. The same people have the audacity to lecture citizens about 'living within our means.' They overspend by 50% then preach austerity. Hypocrisy has found a new headquarters.
This is why we say the real state of the nation is theft, not transformation
@djeduhmaks 😂😂It has happened to me like thrice this year, naona ni kama shetani ndo huyu amefika, nascream no voice,my hands can't see them lifting despite kuziinua🥲😂,it was not until I called Yesu buana ndo nikarudi form😂
@HonAdenDuale Domestic stability takes precedence over performative diplomacy,It is inappropriate as a democrat to congratulate her being aware of skewed electoral process.True leadership demands accountability and not this nonsense.
