A little appreciation post for Pundao🥚
Pundao has this quiet power over people, and I don't think she even realises it.
Amidst all the nonsense I post on here, I've noticed that I become a little gentler when it comes to her. Humour has always been my way of hiding how much I feel, but somehow, she makes me want to put the jokes aside and speak from the heart.
I think it's because she's so genuinely herself with us. She lets us see the good days and the difficult ones, the laughter and the vulnerability. She doesn't pretend that life is always beautiful, and somehow that makes her even more beautiful to me.
She makes me want to be kinder, more thoughtful, more appreciative of the little things. She makes the world feel a little less chaotic, just by being in it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes people leave a mark on your life without ever knowing it. And Pundao, you've left a beautiful one on mine. I hope that on days when the world feels a little unkind, you remember that you've made someone else's world a little softer.
And for that, I'll always be grateful 🤍

-Home isn't always a place. Sometimes it's the people who make us feel safe and understood.
-This feels like a gentle ending: after everything, we all deserve somewhere we can simply be ourselves.
DAY 5 OF PUNDAO'S LITTLE SOUNDTRACK!
This playlist feels warmer than the last few days. After Day 3's defiance and Day 4's bittersweet acceptance, Day 5 seems to lean into friendship, connection, reassurance, and belonging.
DAY 4!
Interesting shift from Day 3. Yesterday was full of chaos, defiance, and wanting to be heard. Today feels quieter, more tender, and perhaps a little bittersweet.

MM broke up SP on day one, before the allegations had been publicly substantiated. Now, in DMs, you're saying whether the SP returns depends on the two artists.
Shelly has already expressed that she wants to return, which inevitably shifts all the public pressure onto Pundao.
So MM gets to make the initial decision, step back, and leave Pundao carrying the weight of what happens next?
Where is MM's accountability for the damage caused by its own handling of this situation? You cannot make a decision with such serious consequences, then frame the aftermath as entirely the artists' responsibility.
@melzinha0835951 I agree with you, and I'm sorry if my wording caused any misunderstanding. I never meant that Shelly was putting pressure on Pundao. I was referring to the situation MM has created. I've explained my thoughts more clearly in my latest post. 🤍

To everyone saying Shelly didn't put pressure on Pundao, that's not what I meant at all.
If I were in Shelly's position, I would've done the same.
Because what else could I do? When everything feels out of my control, all I can do is make my feelings known and hope they reach the person who matters most.
I don't see it as an attempt to pressure anyone. I see it as a cry for help, a desperate attempt to hold on to something precious when there's so little left within my control.
The pressure I'm talking about comes from the situation and how MM has handled it, not from Shelly expressing what she wants. And Pundao deserves the freedom to make her own choice without carrying the weight of everyone else's expectations.
I can empathise with Shelly's desperation while still wanting to protect Pundao's peace. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

Trying to look on the brighter side, Shelly will be back in November, we'll get the first episode of the reality show, and the November schedule should be coming too. Hopefully, these will give us some answers and a clearer picture of what's ahead.
I really hope that MM is taking a more passive approach because they're waiting to see how the general public reacts before deciding on their next steps.
MM, did you break up SP so hastily because it was convenient to cover up your own incompetence? Did you already know the chances of getting BYS into production were slim, and see this as an easy way out?
Or was it meant to be a punishment because Shelly couldn't give you the answers you wanted on the very first day?
Were you making these decisions as a responsible company, or were personal feelings and frustrations driving them?
If BYS was too difficult to produce, why not shelve it and find another suitable project for SP?
Why was breaking up the CP your immediate response instead of exploring other possibilities?
Why was it easier to give up on SP than to find a way forward?
These are questions you owe people an explanation for. Because from the outside, it looks like you chose the most drastic solution before exhausting the alternatives, and everyone else has been left paying the price.

And instead of taking accountability, addressing the damage, or cleaning up the mess you created, you're moving on to Gen 2 as though none of this happened.
