I can never understand Nigerian politics. Someone finished his time after a terribly woeful performance as power minister, to go and contest for Governorship election. And rather than arrive his state in humility and address the press solemnly - acknowledging the challenges and how there's a lot of work to be done, he gathered a crowd at the airport and declared a "heroic" welcome.
