Buried on page 306 of the Senate Finance text for the One Big Beautiful Bill is a carveout for big multinationals to pocket taxpayer dollars for their Chinese suppliers by grandfathering existing contracts.

Big auto companies, General Motors in particular is pushing for this.

This provision will send hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to companies affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party through 2030, at the expense of American manufacturers that were just getting a break from anticompetitive behavior thanks to President Trump's America First trade policies.

This sort of cronyism by the likes of Biden BFF Mary Barra at GM and her buddies at CATL, at American workers' expense, has no place in a MAGA economic agenda meant to put our prosperity and national security first

That’s how HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. opened his testimony before Congress by offering a brutal assessment of America’s healthcare crisis.

It was a warning shot.

“The United States remains the SICKEST developed nation,” he said.

“And yet we spend $4.5 trillion annually on healthcare—2 to 3 times more per capita than comparable nations.”

Kennedy sounded the alarm: this isn’t just wasteful, it’s unsustainable.

Healthcare costs are growing faster than the economy, yet outcomes are getting worse.

Americans are paying more to stay sick.

“If we don’t stanch this trend, we will ransom our children to bankruptcy, servitude and disastrous health consequences.”

“We won’t solve this problem by throwing more money at it,” he added.

“We must spend smarter.”

His goal?

Strip out bureaucracy, realign incentives, and redirect funds toward things that actually improve health—not just manage disease.
