There was a time I only cared about medical awareness online. I used to feel that free medical education was the greatest thing that poor and vulnerable people in a country like nigeria needed.

But I was wrong: I was very wrong.
And I will explain to you why.

I realised not too long ago that you cannot out-hustle yourself out of a bad economy, and you can not out-educate yourself out of very poor healthcare.

I realised very quickly that if we don’t fix the government, all our medical awareness is almost a waste of time.

Imagine telling someone to go for dental checkup every 6months, or go for full medical workup every year. Please in a country where health care is expensive and unaffordable, where over 120million people are living in poverty, with which money will they do that medical checkup?

You are telling someone not to eat late at night. Who told you that the person has even eaten all day long? Who told you that night food is not their first meal for the whole day?

This is my frustration.
This is my daily frustration.
And this is why I’m convinced that if we don’t fix the government, hold the govt accountable and fight their enablers like the rogue religious leaders; we will never build a country that values life, prioritises health and works for everyone.

So follow this page if you can stand the truth and if you are ready to speak up against bad governance because I won’t stop. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

Because the same (white) people who bought out hip-hop/rap music (which started out as Black revolutionary/conscious music) in the 80s, and turned it into the "gangsta rap" and consumerist dross we know today have also bought out Afrobeats and most popular contemporary African genres.

Nigeria's last major indigenous record label recently celebrated being bought out by Lucian Grainge - yes, the same Lucian Grainge mentioned multiple times in the P. Diddy lawsuit.

But all that I'm saying is a waste of my breath. Our people do not understand that Africa is part of the world and that the same forces present everywhere else are also present here.

Oyibo has already spent 500 years morphing our culture, playing God with our destiny and comprehensively messing with us on every social, spiritual, psychological and emotional level, so taking over and weaponising our own cultural institutions against us - as was done to African Americans - is literally just Tuesday for Lucian Grainge and his people.

If the majority of our people were capable of being free, they'd have figured all of this out long ago. But they're not. Which is why 500 years after a Portuguese man first gave some red cloth to a coastal West African chief in exchange for entire human beings, oyibo is still doing with our destiny as he pleases.
