@calilio_ I like Stiller, and we need him. If I remember right, Toni is the same one who said Valverde was his successor, and they aren't even the same type of player. 😂 We don't have to bring Toni's name into this. It's already clear as it is.
If this were his only bad game in months, I don’t think Madridistas would be this frustrated. That said, it’s no excuse for his poor performance in that game, and certainly not for throwing a tantrum. The sooner everyone admits it, the better: Vini should be coming off the bench to earn back his place and status. What if that’s the challenge he needs?
🗣️ Fernando Morientes (former Real Madrid player):
“When you're told two hours before the match that you've been suspended for four games, that's something you can't ignore.
When I put myself in the player's shoes, and you find yourself facing an important Champions League match, you call your wife and tell her: 'Darling, we're heading to the stadium,' and she says to you: 'I'm sorry to tell you this, but our daughter has a fever and I had to take her to the emergency room.' Of course, in that match, I wouldn't be calm at all, because there's a personal obstacle.
And I put the personal obstacle and the professional obstacle on exactly the same level.
I understand that news like this hurts any player because they won't be present in the matches, and we're talking about four matches, not one or two, but four full matches, which is a lot. In the past, it amounted to almost a full month of competition.”
Honestly, you’ve given him more than enough chances. As a Madrid fan, I’ve lost my patience, and it’s not fair to put us all through this nonsense. This boy will NEVER change.
@MadridXtra Thank for your contribution Davide. But please don’t reference Toni here. He has don’t nothing like Vini. That’s a top professional you can only compare to a select few in the history of our game.
This analogy is flawed! How did you even think this was the best way to explain it? 😂 It tells me you haven't done proper research on this. Sprinting and football are completely different. Football involves constant judgment calls and is very subjective. Sprinting is highly objective and so heavily regulated electronically that officials can barely affect the outcome. 😂 Do you even know which race officials are involved? Which one do you think Bolt could possibly bribe to help him win? Do you not understand that Negreira held a powerful office that came with influence over referees? If a club is willing to make financial dealings with someone holding that kind of power and influence, the least we can say is that it's unethical. Now, why go down that route? That's the question. We'll wait!
@ultimate_kombo This is what you should be comparing: the total commercial revenue of both clubs. You can't compare one club's sponsorship revenue to another club's total commercial revenue.
@ultimate_kombo Don't let yourself get trapped by something this simple. Let me help you: ignore the numbers completely. Focus on what was done, how, why, where it led them, and how their actions affected others. If you still don't get it, just leave it.
Rock bottom isn't being subbed off in the 54th minute with a man down. Rock bottom is starting on the bench. Years ago he said he'd be 10x better. Let's stop with this nonsense. When Vini plays well consistently, the world will know. We don't want to hear anything. We just want to see better performances. Maybe he'll get the message from the bench.
