Please are Nigerian government saying they don't have the ability to locate the location of these eviI bandits and bring them to justice? These people are releasing videos everyday and they are in this same country with us, what exactly is this govt doing to rescues these people?

When I was Muslim, I used to ask Christians:
“If Jesus was really God, why did He eat, sleep, and bleed like us?”
And honestly, I used to ask it with pride like it was some unbeatable argument.
But later I realized something:
That question was not exposing Christianity.
It was exposing my misunderstanding of what kind of God Jesus claimed to be.
Because the real question is not:
“Why would God become weak?”
The real question is:
“What kind of God would willingly step into human suffering at all?”
Islam taught me about a God who was distant and untouchable.
But Christianity introduced me to a God who stepped into hunger, exhaustion, grief, pain, betrayal, blood, and suffering with us.
And suddenly His humanity stopped feeling like weakness to me.
It became proof of love.
If Jesus ate, it means He came close enough to experience hunger beside us.
If He slept, it means He embraced the exhaustion we carry.
If He bled, it means He did not stand above suffering watching us from a distance.
He entered it Himself.
Philippians 2 says Christ emptied Himself and took on flesh.
Not because He stopped being God, but because He wanted humanity to finally see what God is actually like.
And it turns out God is willing to suffer for the people He loves.
That changed everything for me.
Because every other religion demanded sacrifice from humanity.
Jesus became the sacrifice Himself.
And no prophet in history ever claimed that.
The biggest shift in my prayer life was moving from desperation to authority.
There was a time I thought prayer was about begging God…
Crying louder, fasting longer, hoping maybe heaven would notice me.
But then light came.
God is not asking us to beg…
He is asking us to believe.
Begging comes from uncertainty.
Authority comes from revelation.
When you don’t know who you are in Christ, you will pray like a victim.
When you know who you are, you will pray like a son.
The Bible says:
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…” (Hebrews 4:16)
Not crawling.
Not shrinking.
Boldly.
Why? Because you are not a stranger trying to gain access…
You are a child who already belongs.
Listen—prayer is not convincing God to do what He is reluctant to do.
Prayer is enforcing what He has already made available in Christ.
That’s why you will never pray amiss if you pray scriptures.
Because when you pray scriptures, you are not speaking your emotions…
You are speaking His will.
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.” (1 John 5:14)
Scriptures reveal His will.
So when you pray the Word, heaven has no option but to respond.
Instead of saying:
“Lord… please help me, I don’t know what to do…”
You rise and declare:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
Instead of saying:
“God, I’m afraid…”
You stand on His Word:
“For God has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
Instead of begging for victory, you declare:
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
This is the difference.
Desperation prays from lack.
Authority prays from finished work.
Jesus already paid the price.
He already secured the victory.
You are not trying to win…
You are enforcing what has been won.
So when you pray, don’t come like someone trying to persuade God.
Come as one who knows:
“I have access.”
“I have backing.”
“I have authority in Christ.”
Let your prayers be filled with Word.
Let your mouth speak what heaven has already said.
Because when God hears His Word in your mouth…
He confirms it.
Stop begging.
Start believing.
Stop pleading.
Start declaring.
You will never pray amiss…
If you pray scriptures.
And how are you sure those who are selected ain't tongue speakers and prayerful? Didn't the bible also said a man's gift will make him stand before king? Why are you attributing worshipping God with idleness? Did Jesus ever encouraged idleness? Even Jesus himself worked to earn
I’m sure you’ve heard about Pastor Jerry Eze’s Foundation giving out $720,000 to 240 young entrepreneurs.
God bless him for that. I love and respect the man.
But here’s a lesson some churchgoers need to sit with.
When it was time to select who got the money, Pastor Jerry, the same man who preaches miracles and unmerited favor, hired KPMG, one of the world’s top consulting firms, to go through the applications and find the most qualified candidates.
The criteria did not include:
Who speaks in tongues the longest.
Who pays the highest tithes.
Who bought the oil of prosperity last Sunday.
Who fasted seven days for divine favor.
Who shouts “fire” the loudest during deliverance.
He hired KPMG. Not a prophet. Not an usher. Not his most loyal church member. A firm that evaluates business structure, financial records, turnover, industry viability, and legal registration.
Dedicated tongue-talker with no business records? Nothing for you.
Seed-sower who never structured a business? Nothing for you.
Because when real money is on the line, even the pastor plays by business rules.
This is not an attack on faith or those who are devoted to God. It is a call to start separating your devotion from your development. Your pastor is studying balance sheets while teaching you to sow seeds. Study what he does, not just what he says.
Businesses do not grow through tongues. They grow through structure, discipline, and strategy.
Separate your spirituality from your business principles. Both can coexist. But they are not the same tool.
Sometimes the roles you play have a way of manifesting in your life, look at all these women that act as witches Iya Gbonkan, Abeni Agbon and the likes are also in similar situation like him, nothing good actually comes from the devil, baba kekere is in UK today enjoying his life
Yoruba Nollywood Actor, Samson Folarin Popular Known as Baba Kukute, Said In A Recent interview, That He has been Acting for Over 50 years in the Movie industry & he has never owned a house or Get a Standard car before in his entire life,
Saying the Only Land he currently owns, was given to him by a fan & He doesn’t have money to developed it, In that interview he was almost crying, Saying he has the fame but he doesn’t have the money to back it up, which always makes him feel sad any time he remember how long he has acting.
You know what DIDN’T shock me when I came to Christ as a Muslim?
Jesus, the real Jesus. He didn’t shock me at all.
What shocked me was how consistent He was with the God I was reading about in the Torah.
I’m reading the Bible for the first time and thinking: “Wait a second. This God, Yahweh, is always stepping into humanity.”
He’s not distant.
He walks in the garden.
Adam and Eve hear Him.
He wrestles with Jacob.
He appears as the angel of the Lord.
He speaks to Moses face to face.
So when Jesus shows up, it doesn't feel random. It felt like the next step.
People act like the Incarnation came out of nowhere. It didn’t. It’s progressive revelation. God revealing more of Himself, culminating in Christ.
The Trinity isn’t random theology. It’s God with us. God for us. God among us.
Isaiah said it 700 years before—Emmanuel, God with us. That’s prophecy.
So here’s where I got stuck: Why is it easier to believe God walked, spoke, appeared, wrestled—
but suddenly He can’t enter His own creation?
That logic doesn’t make sense.
For me, recognizing Jesus as God wasn’t a leap. It was the most natural next step.
And once I realized the Torah was revelation from God, not the Quran, I knew where I had to stand.
Why are churches inviting popular music ministers if not for publicity? Do they not have choirs and ministers in their church who can minister to the audience? Its a game of cat and rat between them, let the churches also pay the price for publicity, Jesus have no hand in this
This is an invoice from a gospel music minister.
The following are its stipulations before the said minister can be invited:
Flights will be booked for both the outbound and return journeys.
The artist will fly First Class (compulsory).
The team will fly Economy.
Hotel reservations will be covered by the church:
a. 1 Executive Suite for the minister
b. 3 Executive rooms for the 6 males
c. 1 Executive room for the 2 males
Honorarium: ₦5,000,000.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
a. A non-refundable 50% deposit must be made before the event can be scheduled.
b. The remaining 50% must be paid 2 days before the event (compulsory).
This invoice is years old, so it has most likely been revised upward.
This has become an accepted practice across many churches in the Nigerian church ecosystem today, especially among gospel music ministers.
Their ministrations, gifts, and talents are now placed behind a paywall.
No money, no ministration.
This raises several important questions about the current state of affairs.
What exactly is the minister charging for?
Everything that makes a ministration and ministry effective comes from God.
Firstly, the ministry itself is from God.
Paul said that it was Jesus who gave the ministries for the edification of the Church:
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” (Ephesians 4:11)
Paul also said that it is God who makes us competent to minister the New Covenant:
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.” (2 Corinthians 3:5)
He further stated that it is God who causes His light to shine in the hearts of the unsaved:
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts…” (2 Corinthians 4:6)
And again, Paul made it clear that it is God who gives the increase, while the minister is nothing:
“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:7)
The question remains: what are we charging for?
It is God who gives the ministry.
It is God who makes ministers competent.
It is God who causes light to shine in dark hearts.
It is God who brings increase and edification.
If a minister charges money to minister, it suggests that they have control over the outcome of the ministration.
But Scripture says otherwise.
So again, what are we charging for? What do we truly have to offer that justifies a price?
Paul also said that it is God who counts ministers worthy and appoints them:
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” (1 Timothy 1:12)
We highlight these things to show that God is not pleased with what is happening within the Church in this nation.
This practice has become widespread. Ministers have taken what belongs to God and turned it into personal ambition.
They now believe they must be material beneficiaries simply because they are close to the altar.
Like Hophni and Phinehas, they are fattening themselves on the offerings of God’s people.
God is not pleased.
These money-mongers are ministers of Christ. They do not represent Jesus.
They have become celebrities, following the way of Cain.
Their consciences have been seared, and they no longer hold to the mystery of the faith with sincerity and a pure conscience.
God has rejected the service of such people.
This example is only a modest invoice.
There are others that are far more excessive, more troubling, and more driven by greed.
But the message has been passed.
More will be said.
Until then, remain blessed. Keep your garments white and your hands pure.
Amen.
🚨Breaking news!! I am starting to question Christianity ❗️
Nobody really told me this is what Christianity is about 😭 I honestly didn’t understand what I was signing up for, and now I’m starting to question my whole decision of becoming a true Christian.
Nobody told me that once you become a true Christian, you get “assigned” to the Holy Spirit, like He just moves in and becomes the landlord of your whole life.
And this Landlord? Ah. Too many rules 😭
“Don’t do this.”
“Don’t say that.”
“Don’t even think it.”
Excuse me?? Even my thoughts are now under surveillance??
Nobody told me anger will now be illegal. Before, I used to express myself freely 😌
Now it’s: “Be calm… be patient… pray for them…”
Pray for who?? The same person that annoyed me?? 😭
Nobody told me small lie will now feel like I committed a federal crime. Before, it was “just a tiny lie.”
Now my conscience is shouting like police siren 🚨
Nobody told me I can’t even enjoy my old lifestyle in peace again. The same things I used to do freely now come with instant guilt package.
Nobody told me gossip will turn into prayer request.
Before: “Come let me tell you what she did…”
Now: “Father Lord, bless her and guide her…”
God abeg 😭
Nobody told me when someone offends me, instead of showing them my full Jezebel reaction, I’ll just smile like a customer care agent, pray silently, and walk away.
Who trained me like this??
Nobody told me if I don’t pray or read my Bible, my whole day will feel somehow, like something is missing, like I forgot my Inhaler at home. I won’t rest until I pray.
Nobody told me humility will just land on my head like this. Me that used to carry pride like designer bag, now I’m humble like someone applying for a visa 😭
Nobody told me some places I used to enjoy, like clubs, will now feel like I mistakenly entered another planet. I’ll just be there like: “What am I even doing here?”
Honestly… nobody told me I won’t even be able to sin in peace again 😭
Now every day is:
“Try again.”
“Do better.”
“Grow.”
Ah.
Nobody told me oo… but somehow… I can’t even go back 😅 I LOVE IT📌
When I tell Christians that they only have the religion because their parents gave it to them…they always feel quite insulted then tell me “Well my parents introduced it to me but I found God for myself” I chose the religion.
Then I ask… “Did your parents present to you all the religions…Islam, Christianity, Buddhism,African Religion, Obatala, Sango, Ifa, Hinduism, Judaism etc”…
Did they present all these ideologies and teachings to you and then ask you to choose one??
They always end the conversation at this point.
Jesus was so bad at starting a religion. He didn’t write a book, did not give his group a fancy name or any name at all, rather, he made friends with twelve ordinary everyday folks.
Attended weddings, visited people in their houses, showed up in the synagogue, used the same energy to speak with the lone Samaritan woman at the well as he would have done with thousands of people.
A Messiah with no Messiah complex. What a man! What a God!
