Last week, we escorted the family of Loveth Okafor, (a femicide victim killed by the man pictured below in July) for an Autopsy in Lasuth Lagos.
She has now been taken home for burial.
Next week, we commence the fight for #JusticeForLoveth in court.

The Ikeja Electric office on the Ikorodu road was locked down by Abule Oja/ Ijesha residents and the staff couldn’t get in to do their ‘business’ of the day.

Even while it rained and poured, the residents stood their ground.
This issue has been on ground since October 2025.

UPDATE: Maryam has been remanded in Suleja Prison until August 31.

What makes this even more disturbing is that Maryam is a final year university student, scheduled to begin her final examinations this Saturday. A student who should be preparing to finish her degree is instead being locked behind bars. This is beyond cruel. It is a disgrace.
