@DeltyThe73rd LRM boats can be pretty scary in this game, IMO. Archer was one of my favorite heavy mechs, sometimes I took it over assaults. If you have high gunnery and maxed out called shot bonus, that thing is a menace.
@DeltyThe73rd It its lore you’re mainly looking for, don’t overlook the old novels and sourcebooks. You can get them from a variety of sources, the novels can be a bit pulpy but entertaining. Sourcebooks are… detailed but they literally are the lore, may want to work up to those.
@DeltyThe73rd I enjoy it a lot, don’t think you can go wrong with MW5 either, depends on what your preferred gameplay type is. I will say MW has a lot more DLC, some of which goes into particular events in the universe, whereas BT is more of its own side story, but a solid primer.
@PaulTassi The whole thing definitely looks weird, but I think if you look at his clothes and how they behave it becomes clear that this was mostly real, but just has odd lighting, camera angles, and the weird behavior of whatever he landed on. Oh and the head of a PS3 character
@GenePark I get people not wanting another 64 remake (I haven’t played a Star Fox game in 20 years, so I’m not as bothered) but I do think people get too stuck on how they pictured the art design in their heads. I think characters look fine, and yeah, in-game looks gorgeous so far
@Ankaman616 It’s amazing given how susceptible to corners we used to be, and now with all the ridiculous antics teams pull (1000 years of shame on Arteta) and yet… yeah, I feel safe. Or about as safe as one can feel when players are leaning on keepers like they had a pint too many
@stephentotilo I think often about what would’ve happened if Xbox a) kept most, if not all of these games exclusive, and b) what the current financial situation, and its effects on their strategy, would be if they HADN’T gone for Activision.
@webegga I also try to take fairly frequent breaks, get up, walk a bit, sit on a couch or bed for a little if I’m home, etc. and I drink lots of water, I think that may have helped the headaches more than anything else, but neck and wrist/elbow positioning can be huge as well.
@webegga I used to get some headaches, neck pain, and carpal tunnel, largely from sitting posture (desk job + gaming lol). Getting a much better office chair and setup (height adjustable desk, elevated monitor, keyboard wrist pad) that seems to have helped a lot.
@JeremiahDJohns My ads are all just bots with the same pic of an older white guy, with garbled names and selling random junk. And that’s probably the best possible outcome at this point.
@CartoonsHateHer I feel kinda the same way, except it’s 50/50 whether it’s a Russian asset or just some guy in SE Asia farming clicks. There’s definitely a system behind a lot of it though, one way or another.
