Freeports to cost businesses that export £35bn in extra tariffs ... I have an idea, why not join a tariff free single market on our doorstep where we designed the rules and have access to 400m+ consumers instead

I live in Teesside, we don’t have a john Lewis & the reason for that is clear. I’d love a john Lewis here, it would mean we were prosperous. We do have tory MPs though & for the life of me, it doesn’t add up #torysleaze
This arrived today, handmade mask for my wife, in memory of her mum, Iris. Made by good friends from @a_l_o_f_t_s theatrical costumiers trying to keep their head above water while theatres are closed and tours cancelled. Great quality, worth every penny, please look and buy. X

🇺🇸 1 million
Total: 35 million
Vaccine exports to EU from 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇲🇽🇺🇸: zero

This can fuck right off. And then when it's done fucking off, it should take itself into a dark alley and fuck off some more, before reaching its final resting place, where it can fuck off a little further for good measure. https://t.co/Mg8k4Cj2jy
Great respect to Remainers criticising/attacking the EU on the Article 16 incident.
We now need to see the same from Brexiters whenever the British Govt's stupidity demands it i.e. on pretty much every other day of the year.
Putting aside why we have a Northern Ireland protocol to begin with, the EU Commission doing this without the prior consultation and consent of the Irish government is wrong.

The jury's out on whether labour is trying to wash its hands of any commitment to restoring a strong working relationship with the EU.
