@Mares4Life @Ahorsetiger Chance and I have had similar challenges. Wishing you both the best in getting her more comfy! Hope she will be back on the trails very soon.
I have thoroughly enjoyed being back home in Georgia, and Chance and i had our first ride at the new barn! His yearling pasture mate decided to join us 😂
Old men w horses will be like "this is my most reliable horse, we've rode all over the Appalachians together, she's given me some of the nicest colts I've ever seen" and then you ask him what her name is and they make a face and go "well my wife calls her..."
as an attending physician, I do my best to not tell trainees that a procedure will be “easy” because it summons the evil procedure goblins that come and suddenly make the procedure extremely challenging
Chance and I have had the best barn family while I’ve been in dental school. Giving my barn manager notice that I will be leaving in the near future after 4.5 years was not on my bingo card for 2022.
Let’s just try to hang in there today. I mean, we can’t be mad, offended, shocked and insulted every minute of every day. At some point, we’ve got to choose a little joy and peace of mind in Jesus. I can’t think he wants us worked up 24/7.
@dressagefailure I have a winter AP I bought on a whim 10 years ago and it is the best fitting saddle for my horse that I own! I only trail ride these days and it can be a little uncomfy for me on long rides but it’s been a great and affordable saddle for us!
