Dont get it twisted, money plays a significant role in almost every facets of life, but not as much as being desired genuinely when it comes to relationship or marriage which is why the presence of the latter almost guarantee a successful union but d presence of the former doesnt

Goes without saying, if your union is built on something as volatile as finance you live in a fragile house of cards. It'll only take one downtime for it to come down crashing.

I've been reading the responses to your tweet and little wonder why Nigerians struggle with love. If money is the foundation of your relationship, it can never be right. The presence of money has destroyed relationship as much as the lack of money because people are money-centric and have turned relationship transactional. Moneybdoesnt guarantee shit. Money only adds colour, it doesn't make relationship sweet. Your relationship has to be sweet first.

How can you say money makes relationship healthy? Do you know what healthy relationship even mean because that would mean rich people have healthy relationship. Money has never made a relationship healthy. If your relationship stands because of money, then it means you are one crisis away from lovelessness and toxicity. So why are you still with the person or can't you tell you're in a loveless relationship?

This is why a lot of you don't have peace of mind. Once someone with more money comes, you'll abandon your relationship. Once someone with more money approaches your partner, you'll start having heart attack that they will leave you. If your personality, character, how you treat them and the times you share together is not enough for them, then you're wasting your time.
