@awakenotwoke604@604RAW Could you imagine being a kid and seeing housing prices versus wages? Plus social media makes them think they’re incredible and should do incredible things… no one is really promoting an average or a simple life, which most people will experience.
I’m sick of people posting with shitty phone cameras… it’s 2026, there are dudes in India living in huts and crack heads with iPhones… if you can’t afford a decent phone, maybe don’t post.. your content looks like it’s from 2013.
@PorcDalmatian@Gini_220 Being smart and successful doesn’t make you an asshole. I’m guessing you underachieved your whole life so you get offended when others over achieve ?
@ZenPigeon@VanCityVice Typical Vancouver driver lol. You don’t know the rules of the road or how to drive clearly. But don’t worry you’re not alone. It’s called shoulder checking before turning. That’s why the lane is green.
@_josephine0_ If you have to put up a sign like this, you’re probably not at a very good restaurant or getting great service. Instead of normalizing tipping, let’s normalize not eating at shitty restaurants all the time.
Two things can be true at the same time: We needed government and it helped us evolved as a society. Also, we don’t need nearly as much government now. It’s like training wheels on a bike, at some point you need to have trust in your own capabilities or you will never grow.
Government was put in place to protect us from being ruled. Now it is being used to rule us. We are far more capable today, than we were 100-200 years ago of protecting, educating and healing ourselves, which was the main job of government.
