I see there’s a raging “founders never intended” conversation this AM.
So...
1) There was no single “Founders view.” They disagreed on big things in big ways. A lot.
2) The constitutional amendment process exists because people assumed that there would be change.

@sallylepage Not Pfizer, but I got Moderna and that was supposed to have more extreme side effects for most people? I got nothing, just a slighty itchy pink spot that vanished in a day.
@bleach226 I can see how they might be treated like a quasi-possessive, e.g. “season’s greetings”. But if your intention is simply plural, the original should be correct. That’s my thinking anyway.

I’ve covered Democratic and Republican presidents. There were norms, even when they were pushed and stretched. What we are witnessing today is unlike anything we have seen before. And the press should frame it accordingly.
