‘Clarity comes from engagement not thought.’ ~ Marie Forleo
This quote is pinned to my laptop and reminds me every time I start procrastinating to write whether I feel like it or not.👩🏻💻
What is one quote that nudges you back into action?

Drafting a new article after taking a break for a few months, is a slow warm up into getting back into practicing writing consistently.
It feels good to be writing again. This time I intend to keep up the momentum. Holding myself accountable.

7. The 3Ps: Patience, Progress, Playfulness 🪅
Patience: It’s not an overnight success. The journey’s long.
Progress: A bias towards action helps you take small steps every day towards your goals. It’s consistency > intensity.
Playfulness: Have fun and enjoy the journey.
“Stop driving the vehicle of your life, down the highway of experience, with one foot on the gas and one foot on the break. Accelerate into the curves and trust that because you’re made in the image of God, your imagination will find the solution.” — Myron Golden
That’s the big fear, isn’t it?
You’re afraid that if you just go for it and speed into that curve the vehicle of your life will flip over because it couldn’t handle the speed.
It’s amazing how deep-seated that fear of flinging yourself into the curve really is.
The vast majority of us spend our entire lives playing it safe, missing out on the joy of really putting ourselves out there, and then we just die.
You know the clock is ticking. You know you’re going to die. Yet, you still do nothing about it.
Why?
Why don’t you care about yourself enough to throw yourself into life?
Why are you hedging?
What are you actually afraid of and how can you fix it?
@iamdulma I recently learned the hard way by chasing prestige in my corporate job (identity attachment etc!) and when my job ended and I was burnt out I realised I’d placed my ladder up against the wrong wall. The path to fulfilment is the way forwards for sure..👌🏻
I spent most of my 20s repeatedly choosing the path of fulfillment over prestige, and now that it has started to pay off with opportunities & recognition I couldn’t have predicted, it has been more than worth it.
Don’t chase prestige. Honor your truth and the prestige will come.
Each day you spend not doing what it takes to build your writing career.
Is another day where your competition continues to build their audience and attract the readers you could've had.
More and more people want to be digital writers.
The clock is ticking...
Celebrating the fact that when I became clear on what I wanted to write, my creative block cleared, my inspiration returned and I realised how much I loved writing again.
Today, a new article of mine was published in an online wellness publication Wholistique!
