To blame Fidel Castro for the JFK assassination, Al Haig pushed a tale about Lee Harvey Oswald meeting with Castro's G-2 in Cuba in 1963. Similarly, Frank Sturgis pushed a tale about Jack Ruby meeting with Castro's top people in Cuba in 1963. This is important. (Read on.)

The conversation occurred in 1976, as the heat was coming down hard on both Frank Sturgis and Howard Hunt. Both killers had been placed in Dealey Plaza by Watergate investigators. and both were spinning tall tales to cover up their key roles in the JFK assassination.

All these new tales naturally caught the interest of the House Select Committee on Assassinations.

But in this particular HSCA interview, instead of putting Lee Harvey Oswald in the presence of Castro's top people shortly before the JFK assassination, Sturgis decided to put Jack Ruby in the presence of Castro's top people shortly before the JFK assassination. (See image and link.)

This is extremely significant because it tells us that the real assassins (Haig, Hunt, Sturgis, Christ, Williams...) had an interest in explaining away Jack Ruby.

Specifically, they not only had to blame Fidel Castro for JFK's death, but they had to blame Fidel Castro for Jack Ruby's death.

And why would they do such a thing unless Ruby had done their bidding -- unless Ruby had killed Oswald as a part of the JFK assassination plot itself?

I don't talk about Colin Powell much because the things I have to say about him will tend to make people think I'm crazy. However, these things have to be discussed at some point, so why not now? (READ ON.)

First of all, everybody should know by now that Colin Powell was a very powerful member of what we now call the Deep State. Real American boys simply do not grow up and decide to scam the country, and the world, into invading massive countries based on ridiculous lies. That's just not a thing.

Second, Powell did not find himself in the position to lie the world into invading Iraq as a matter of chance. To become a member of the Deep State, and to be trusted to lie to the whole world like that, you have to do some very bad things. That's the way the Deep State works. The bigger the crimes you commit, the more power you have. To be trusted with a job this big, Colin must have done something really, really bad. Let's jump ahead:

According to my interpretation of Lynne Cheney's very thorough, cryptic novel about Watergate and the JFK assassination, Colin Powell was present on an upper floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository on November 22, 1963.

If true -- and I think it is -- this explains a lot.

According to Lynne's cryptic narrative, there were two US Army kill teams dispatched to Dealey Plaza that day. I talk about one of those kill teams regularly at this forum (Hunt, Sturgis, Christ, et al.). But according to Lynne, there was a second team. And according to Lynne's narrative, one of those kill teams had been ordered to stand down. That was the Colin Powell team. But for some reason, they did not stand down.

That's why JFK was fired on from two completely different directions, and that's why the JFK assassination aftermath has been so difficult for the perpetrators and the investigators alike.

Army Ranger Colin Powell was one of the first "advisors" to be withdrawn from Vietnam under President Kennedy's secret withdrawal plan. But before he made it home to his family, he had a little business to take care of.

According to his memoirs, Colin was in a Nashville airport awaiting a final flight home to Birmingham when he got confirmation of the President's demise. But I suspect it was actually a Dallas airport.

While they did important work, Oliver Stone and Jim DiEugenio are total failures when it comes to investigating the JFK assassination. They are yet to figure out that the US Army was in charge of Cuba in 1963. which is the starting line for any proper investigation. I have pieced together Alexander Haig's lead role in Watergate and the JFK assassination in great detail. Nobody else even comes close.

There are two types of JFK assassination documents you're not allowed to see: (1.) Documents evidencing Lee Harvey Oswald's witting and or unwitting intelligence activities. (2.) Documents evidencing the CIA's collusion with Nazis. George H.W. Bush fits both categorites.

@seanfetterjfk This is partly true. After the JFK assassination, Al Haig directly or indirectly convinced LBJ to retain people like Joe Califano, who eventually went all-in on Vietnam. As with most insiders, LBJ and RFK thought the assassination was CIA blowback.

The Joseph Califano Papers are Kryptonite to all JFK assassination "experts" because they show the US Army, not the CIA, was secretly in control of Cuba in 1963. In other words, the so-called experts not only got it wrong, but they would rather ignore reality than admit failure.

Two weeks before his inauguration, JFK was targeted by a group of anti-Castro Cuban demonstrators brandishing signs urging the incoming president to “Give Us Weapons to Fight Reds.”

The demonstration outside New York’s Carlyle Hotel was organized by the right-wing Cuban Nationalist Association, which was headed by the future Bay of Pigs participant Felipe Rivero Diaz, and led by Ignacio Novo Sampol (seen here in 1978).

Novo and his brother Guillermo were implicated in an increasingly violent range of anti-Castro episodes in the U.S. and elsewhere throughout the ‘60s and ‘70s, including a bazooka attack on the United Nations building in 1964, and the 1976 assassinations of Orlando Letelier and Ronnie Moffitt in Washington, D.C.
