During our second anniversary event tagged "Midterm Stewardship" held earlier today, I handed over the digitized Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to some beneficiaries, marking the successful launch of the C of O in 45 days initiative of our administration.

This initiative is a significant milestone in our journey towards modernizing land administration in Osun State and a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in public service.

The introduction of automation and digitization of the entire C of O process will ensure efficiency and promptness and avail genuine land and property owners, who present survey plans that have already been cleared by the Office of the Surveyor-General, the opportunity to process and receive their Certificates of Occupancy within 45 Days to apply through https://t.co/We6lnqUxcn and have their C of O processed and ready in record time.

Since the adoption of this new technology, I have signed and approved the over 3000 C of Os applications that were pending. This will enhance and promote the state economy as land and property owners can readily deploy their C of O as collateral.

Today, 27th November, 2024, marks my second year-in -office, as the 6th duly elected Governor of Osun State. In my address to the good people of Osun State earlier this morning, I conveyed my deep appreciation for their strong support and prayers over the last 2 years.

I highlighted our journey to make Osun great through dedication and hard work in various sectors of the economy.

I recalled our progress in delivering on our 5 -point agenda to deliver good governance and revive the state by targeting specific areas of need of our people, which forms the major components of our clearly defined goals.

For the second half of our government, I reassured all sons and daughters of Osun State that the government under my able leadership will complete all ongoing projects and continue to address the infra and social needs of our people.

I reiterated our resolve to deepen consultation and interactive mechanism that will sustain our responsiveness and respect for the will and aspirations of our people.

I am pleased to announce the approval of the sum of 75,000 Naira as the new minimum wage for Osun State civil servants. This is in tandem with our commitment to social justice, economic growth and an enhanced living standard for Osun teaming workers and citizens alike.

I urge all civil servants in the state to up their service delivery by endlessly seeking innovative solutions to improve public service in ensuring transparency and accountability for the growth and development of the 33 year old Osun State.

Special thanks to the negotiation committee ably led by my loyal and dedicated Chief of Staff, Hon. Kazeem Akinleye and the leaders of the State Labour Union for their commitment and swift action in concluding this special assignment.

My administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of civil servants, who tirelessly provide efficient, effective and quality services to the state despite limited resources.
