In the year 2007 Mr Erastus Kirui Chemorei a senior police officer was in possession of the keys for a safety of a strong room at GSU Headquarters-Ruaraka.
He had gone to his home in Trans Nzoia when he was killed by police officers.
Reason for the murder has never been foiled.
