#Watch | A major crackdown on hardcore criminals and street crime by Delhi Police's North-West District has led to the apprehension of 23 accused, including burglars, receivers, Bad Characters (BCs), a parole jumper, and 2 CCLs.

The 72-hour Operation Prahaar also resulted in the recovery of 390 stolen/snatched mobile phones worth approximately ₹1.5 crore, 66 stolen two-wheelers, gold and silver jewellery worth ₹62 lakh, ₹65,000 in cash, and the seizure of 19 illegal firearms and 21 knives.

Several cases of snatching, theft, burglary, robbery, and Arms Act offences have been successfully worked out.

The hysteria over FCRA tells you precisely why India needs FCRA.

Follow the argument and then follow the money.

India is saying something extraordinarily simple: if money enters this country from a foreign source, India has the sovereign right to know who sent it, who ultimately controls it, where it is being spent and for what purpose.

What exactly is objectionable about that?

Around 16,200 registered organisations received nearly ₹23,000 crore in foreign contributions in 2024–25 alone.

So please spare us the fiction that the FCRA Bill will “shut down civil society”.

What is being tightened is accountability.

And suddenly there is panic.

We are told regulating foreign-funded NGOs is an attack on democracy.

Since when did democracy mean that an unelected organisation financed from another country acquires a constitutional right to operate without rigorous scrutiny?

He is IPS officer Gurpreet Singh Bhullar from Punjab, who recently busted an ISI-linked terror module that had allegedly planned an attack at Jantar Mantar in Delhi during the students' protest against the NEET paper leak.

9 people were arrested. Police seized three illegal pistols, nine live cartridges, and petrol bombs.

Now, the AAP govt in Punjab has removed Gurpreet Singh Bhullar from his position as Amritsar Police Commissioner. He has also been transferred.

Jammu & Kashmir Police have released the photo of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Mohammad Lateef Bhat, who is wanted in connection with the recent terror attacks in Kashmir.

He is involved in the killing of two non local workers - Deepak and Bhopinder in Kulgam. He is also involved in the killing of policeman Ashiq Hussain at Lal Chowk in Anantnag.

Share his photo widely so it reaches as many people as possible.

If anyone has any information about this terrorist, immediately inform the police or the concerned authorities.

As attacks were launched on Jammu & Kashmir in August 1965, gallant #IndianBraves saved the day at Tithwal.

#LestWeForgetIndia🇮🇳 the supreme sacrifice of Naik Ram Kumar, Vir Chakra (P) 4 KUMAON #OnThisDay 07 August 1965 defending the vital Kralapur Bridge (Tithwal Sector).

Nk Kumar was the commander of a section of Kumaon Regiment on protective duties at Kralpur Bridge on 07 August 1965.

At about 11:30 pm, the enemy opened fire from the village and also fired rockets at the bridge to destroy it.

The protective section suffered heavy casualties and its commander was wounded. In disregard of his personal safety Nk Kumar dragged the commander away from the bridge site.

He was injured by grenade splinters. Despite this, when an enemy demolition squad reached the bridge Naik Ram Kumar rushed and grappled with an enemy soldier and managed to throw a grenade, as a result of which the enemy soldier carrying the demolition charge was wounded. The others fled. Saving the bridge from being destroyed,

Naik Ram Kumar succumbed to his injuries and made the supreme sacrifice.

Naik Ram Kumar was posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra for his raw courage and devotion to duty. 🏵️
