Yeeeah... except Tyler Robinson and his entire defense team watched the same video evidence and never argued, "That's not Tyler's car." The only people making that claim are random social media users who have analyzed a few low resolution courtroom clips instead of the original surveillance footage investigators reviewed.
Kind of strange, isn't it? 🤔
@The_RealZoe@knubeltierli@schafer_von That's an argument that can be made at trial if the defense believes that's the case, but as of now, it didn't seem to be an issue that was raised and it's best not to make assumptions
I just watched that portion of the video again and Agent Hull testified that Exhibit 12.1 was a compilation created by the Utah County Attorney's Office. @The_RealZoe I don't think this stems from the camera system itself. I think the attorney's office or whoever created the compilation added it for narration purposes and it could also be what @knubeltierli said and is just describing from where TR is coming from OR some dimwit mislabeled. Either way we won't know for sure and it doesn't look to be anything really important atm
@wopperjrs@Sunny61120@BlackLineBrief I think the labeling was added by whoever created the video compilation for the preliminary hearing and made a mistake but def not lying and don't know how this can be seen as being deceptive
I believe the labels that the red arrow is pointing to were added by the investigators for the video compilation that was shown during the preliminary hearing and I think they mislabeled 'Parking - Level 1 - Stairs - NE' in the last video as 'Parking - Level 2 - Stairs - NE' but I don't think that's going to make a huge difference if this goes to trial
@BufordTPoleese@Savvi_251@IanCarrollShow@RealCandaceO Who "sent a message to all their powerful supporters: "if you turn against us, we can kill you and there will be no recourse" and what narrative do you believe is a lie?
The cars didn't match and the people weren't the same because that's what you wanted to see. If you looked at the videos objectively instead of through the lens of confirmation bias, you'd realize the public was only shown a small compilation of the surveillance footage, not every video investigators reviewed. Agent Hull specifically testified there was additional UVU surveillance footage that was not included in the public exhibits, and that investigators worked from the original footage during the investigation.
On top of that, the videos the public did see were surveillance footage with obvious motion blur, compression artifacts, changing camera angles, and in the case of the parking garage camera, a wide angle, fisheye lens that naturally distorts shapes. You're trying to make definitive claims about vehicle/person descriptions from the few videos that you were shown without taking into account all the other evidence that was used to corroborate these videos.
And the bullet doesn't match claim is another distortion. The testimony was that the recovered bullet fragments could not be conclusively identified or excluded as having been fired from the recovered rifle because there wasn't enough individual detail on the fragments for a definitive microscopic comparison. That's very different from saying they were proven not to have come from that rifle.
There is an interactive UVU parking map on their website and here is a screenshot of that parking structure and you can see there are 2 entrances into that parking lot with 2 sets of stairs. It's possible that they've labeled each of the entrance tunnel camera's 'South' and 'North' BUT I did just notice that in the last video of him exiting the parking structure stairs that it was mislabeled as 'Parking - Level 2 - Stairs - NE' instead of 'Parking - Level 1 - Stairs - NE' like it was in the first video but I don't see this as some kind of 'gotcha'. Looks like they just made an error in labeling
🤣smh, in that same video you will see the entire front lip disappear as he turns the corner. Did it fall off? 🤣
No it didn't, you're looking at a video of a video of a video. The angle, the dark color of the car, garage lighting, compression artifacts, motion blur and the fish eye are making it appear elongated and is the same reason why the hood vents disappear and why the front lip disappear as the car turns the corner
Also, Agent Hull specifically states that exhibit 12.1 is not all of the video they have of Tyler at the UVU campus AND that this video, which I believe is exhibit 12.4 is not the zoomed in version.
And just to be clear, while you're sitting here trying to force yourself to believe that this is not Tyler's car based on a single video of a video of a video, they literally have him on multiple camera's walking around campus that day after he parked his car and before he jumped back into his car and left.
🤣They're not paying attention to this.
If you've ever been inside a parking structure you'd know that there are connecting stairs in various corners. And camera's placed in various locations. He could've easily just been spotted on level 1 south camera, then walked to the North or NE corner stairwell and took that one.
This person put so much time into this that they lost themselves in the process 🤣
🤣First of all both images on the left have motion blur and compression artifacts because both of those images were taken from a video that was played in court.
Second, you're comparing a rear view angle to a side angle so of course you can't see deep enough into the exhaust to see the tips smh
Third, if you had actually watched the video that was played in court instead of relying on a couple of cherry picked screenshots, you'd have seen the dual intake vents on the hood appear and disappear as the Challenger turns the corner. That's exactly what you'd expect from motion blur, video compression, changing camera angles, and shifting reflections on a moving vehicle. Those same limitations are also why you can't clearly make out the lower front bumper or other fine details.
@JohnBoy6969696@thevivafrei It's the same car smh, motion blur and compression artifacts are making the exhaust tip look separate but if you had a high res photo it would look like this
@BethCharron1@Florida_Spy Why are you making things up? 🤣 Who told that the handwriting on the letter matches Lance's? And what previous texts and Discord posts are you comparing Tyler's speech patterns to date? And who told you that Lance had Tyler's iPad and access to his Discord account?
But you do understand that this was just a preliminary hearing where the burden of proof was simply probable cause NOT proof beyond a reasonable doubt right? The prosecution wasn't required to present every piece of evidence it has or prove its entire case. It only had to present enough evidence for a judge to conclude there's sufficient reason to bind the case over for trial. I think most of these conspiracy theorists believed more evidence needed to be shown to prove to THEM, but that's not how the legal system works
