disgruntled grumpy man, UK ICE when? far right now? I’d like our laws enforced and the country restored, can’t have that without being called names apparently
@lathamphil1@reformparty_uk Every single vote Reform UK do not win is due to the failings of Reform UK. Reform UK do not own votes, they are clearly failing to convince voters they are capable of representing their interests and that is nobodies fault but their own.
If you think Reform actually offer representation for the people after their track record so far please go ahead and vote for them. Are you keeping Starmer in or out this week? Vote Reform for the Starmer Hokey Cokey and other whichever way the wind blows campaigning is Farages flavour of the week for votes👌🏻
Seems Reformers only like democracy when they feel they are guaranteed to win.
Every vote Reform UK does not win is the responsibility of the shit show leadership there and their very confusing messaging, you voting reform to get Starmer out or keep him in this week?
Reform have let everybody down, alternatives exist left and right, vote for the policies, leadership and party you feel best represents you, it really is that simple.
@grok@donnygunner1@Alexandr4Denman@jenny3233764572 Would it be fair to say that Reform UK don’t own people’s votes and any vote Reform UK doesn’t win is entirely the responsibility of Reform UK for failing to convince constituents their Policies, candidate and leadership are not up to the task?
@donnygunner1@Alexandr4Denman@jenny3233764572@grok how many Reform MP’s were elected as Conservatives or Ran previously as conservatives, also how many Restore MP’s or candidates ran as Conservatives?
You want to know what's worse than incompetence? Knowing the truth and burying it anyway.
They knew. That's the bit nobody is saying. They knew.
Two days after Henry died Hampshire Police secretly recorded Digwa in a police van speaking Punjabi to his brother. Digwa admitted stabbing Henry. Discussed claiming self defence. Made zero mention of racial abuse. Not one word.
Hampshire Police had that tape.
They knew Digwa was lying about the racist attack. They had the evidence. They had his own words and then tried to smear Henry as the aggressor anyway.
Three days after his death their statement read “it was reported two men had been assaulted by an unknown man.” Henry was the unknown man. The boy bleeding out on the street. They flipped it.
Family complained. Statement changed. Then police told the family their NEXT update would again infer Henry was the initial aggressor. His family had to fight them a second time. While grieving their murdered son.
Then during the trial Hampshire tried to issue a statement telling the public to stop talking about it online. Calling it disinformation. The CPS had to step in. Told them they were about to collapse their own murder case.
This is the force that handcuffed a dying boy. Missed the murder weapon twice. Had a secret tape proving the killer lied. And still tried to bury Henry's name.
That's not incompetence. That's a machine protecting itself. At the expense of a dead boy's reputation and three officers are still on active duty. Not suspended. Treated as witnesses. To their own actions.
Hampshire Police didn't just fail Henry on that street. They kept failing him for six months after he died.
🚨LAMMYS BOMBSHELL: “POLICE SHOULD FACTOR IN SKIN COLOUR”🤔
What the actual F*CK?!
Deputy PM and Justice Secretary David Lammy has just admitted police SHOULD take the colour of someone’s skin into account when dealing with crime scenes and policing.
He starts with “we are all equal before the law” but then declares because of disproportionate ethnic minority arrest and prison stats, “context can matter”.
After the national outrage over the horrific treatment of Henry Nowak, where race obsessed officers prioritised the killer’s claims over a dying white teen, Starmer spent the week insisting there’s NO two tier policing and everyone is treated equally.
Now his own Justice Secretary openly says race based “context” is fine.
Absolutely astonishing admission.
This is outright race conscious policing from the top while they gaslight Britain that it doesn’t exist.
Because they appear to be addressing issues in order of what constituents have brought up the most and Defence is a far more complex subject specially with the current state of the armed forces. It is going to require more time and effort to get right.
Rupert is on the Public accounts committee, he spends a significant amount of time dealing with civil servants waste and I believe he will be figuring out exactly where cuts can be made. Waste and Welfare will be main targets and I am sure you have noticed your tax going up while services are less.
Not all policies are equal and as a veteran myself I am more than happy to wait for this and for them to get it right. If they mess up defence I would absolutely looking for an alternative but I don’t sit here arguing Restores case in case they get it right, I believe they will.
@CharlieSimpsonA "We have to learn and understand why people are choosing them over us." It's not difficult. Trying to get one of your own MPs jailed is a sign that you are not fit for government.
Lots of moving parts right now, it is better to have a well constructed policy that is logistically sound, costed and achievable. Restore’s promise was to do things properly, so far they have hit the ground running and are delivering what they said they would from the beginning.
Military stuff is a whole different ball game, let them get together their vision and they will present it when it is complete. It is 2-3 years until the next GE, releasing a defence policy now that is not effective, cannot be funded or does not work, specially with the changing nature of conflict and war would be a huge mistake.
What is the modern role of the main battle tank, how can the situation with the Royal Navy be addressed? What role are our aircraft going to play? How do we fight securely in the electro magnetic spectrum? What role do drones now play? There is no quick solution to the issues and re militarising is a huge undertaking in the current dynamic battlespace the armed forces must be prepared to operate.
Coming, as are other policies.
Defence is going to be critical for whatever government follows Labour and you can bet your last penny it is a priority for the party that is taking the ballsiest stance on foreign criminals and borders.
If you are a Makerfield resident and you are going to cast your vote with defence being your primary motivator that rules out Labour and Reform, conservatives have spoken in detail in opposition and offered to work with Labour on this front. Greens and Lib Dem’s to my knowledge (and I have made no effort to look at their policies) have said nothing positive on defence.
I say that as a Restore supporter in full confidence that Restore will be working on a comprehensive and costed plan to not only increase our ability to prosecute decisive military operations but also will not deploy British Armed Forces outside of Britains interests.
You should probably let Southampton police know that, from the footage I have seen they were not only often the aggressors, but went well beyond reasonable force on multiple occasions, their situation will become increasingly difficult now more information about the Nowak case is out there specifically their attempt to paint Nowak as the aggressor.
@ukJ0N@grok how many Reform UK MP’s were electives literally as Conservatives or have links to Conservatives, also how many Restore Britain MP’s or candidates were elected as Conservatives or ran as Conservatives?
Mainstream media are a DISGRACE.
Virtually all have decided that
Burnham will win & are discussing his Cabinet & what he will do as PM.
If I was a Makerfield voter I would vote against Burnham to spite the media's & Labour's arrogance & hubris. 🇬🇧
