TELECOM NAMIBIA OPENS ITS NETWORK FACILITIES TO IUM STUDENTS FOR PRACTICAL ICT EXPOSURE

Telecom Namibia recently hosted students from the International University of Management (IUM) at our Wanaheda Network Site as part of the tertiary institution’s planned educational tour. The visit was led by Implementation and Rollout Engineer Andrew Monderu, who guided the students through both the TN Mobile indoor and outdoor network tower units/facilities, showcasing the operational technologies behind 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.

This engagement offered the students invaluable hands-on exposure to real-world telecommunications infrastructure, effectively bridging the gap between academic theory and industry practice. It also underscores Telecom Namibia’s commitment to knowledge-sharing, youth empowerment, and equipping future ICT professionals with practical insights that inspire innovation and excellence.
