loving an avoidant is watching someone you care about slowly convince themselves that losing you is easier than fighting for what you have. you can feel them pulling away, choosing distance over vulnerability, and silence over communication. the hardest part is knowing you would’ve stayed and worked through it, but they decided letting you go was safer than letting themselves need you.
Do you know how horrible someone would have to feel to believe that death is a better alternative to life? How broken their hearts must be to contemplate suicide? How tormented their souls must be to attempt, or sadly, even follow through with a suicide?
The most tiring thing about adulting to me is how CONSTANT it is.
There is ALWAYS some shit to sort out. you're chilling' means you're probably just ignoring the million things on your to-do list.
