Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police apprehended two accused persons in Cr. No.527/2025 U/Sec 67 IT Act, Sec 111, 61(2), 353(2), 352 of BNS by name 1) Pogadadanda Revathi w/o D. Chaithanya, Age: 44 years, and 2) Bandi Sandhya @ Thanvi Yadav, D/o Late Ramesh Yadav, Age:25 yrs. Both are involved in social media trolling and involved in 2 cases in Telangana.

𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗦:-

The complainant, a 40-year-old businessman serving as the State Secretary of the Congress Social Media Cell in Hyderabad, came across an abusive video while browsing the internet on 10.03.2025. The video, circulated on the X (Twitter) profile @NippuKodi, features a representative from the Pulse TV channel interviewing an unidentified individual in a provocative manner. During the interview, the individual makes derogatory and abusive remarks against the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri A. Revanth Reddy, clearly indicating a deliberate attempt by the Pulse TV channel to defame and spread false propaganda.

Furthermore, the said X (Twitter) profile, @NippuKodi, is actively circulating and amplifying the video, making it go viral. Such posts are highly provocative, and their content has the potential to incite divisions within society, which are likely to lead to disturbances in law and order in both Hyderabad city and the state. In the light of these concerns, the victim has lodged a complaint seeking legal action against the offenders.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬:-

A-1: 1) Pogadadanda Revathi was previously involved in Cr. no: 62/2019 U/s 504 IPC, 3(1)(r)(s) SC, ST (POA) Act of Banjara Hills PS in which she verbally abused a dalit person on a live show, for which she was arrested and released on bail.

2) Cr. no 662/2024 U/s 505 IPC & 66D IT Act of LB Nagar PS, Rachakonda in which she intentionally made false allegations against Telangana State Power Distribution Company Limited and posted her statements in her Social Media Handles. X account @revathitweets.

Posted many abusive videos against Government and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana which were made viral.
