Some of the books I read in 2025, a thread📚
Fifty fifty is a mystery, suspense & legal thriller by Steve Cavanagh. It’s about two sisters on trial for murd*r, they accuse each other but one of them is lying.
I didn’t see the plot twist coming.
Ayra Starr is so gifted and versatile. I love how you could feel her emotions when she was performing on tiny desk. She should do more live performances like this. That was beautiful.

For those foreigners who don’t understand why this drama is controversial, here’s some context.
The webtoon it is based on has been boycotted by many Korean women for years due to its misogynistic and racist content. (to continue)
@lakerbaker99 Sadly, it’s happening and cases like that are underreported in some countries too but they won’t bat an eye but once it’s happening in Korea like this they’re up.
Some of you fetishize over Koreans so much that you don’t care about what happens in your country anymore. There’s nothing bad happening in Korea that isn’t happening your country, worse even. You just don’t care and you can’t care about Korea like Koreans.
I just finished watching this and I can’t wait to see how they’re gonna save them in s2 because a lot of these girls don’t even know they need to be saved & their complexities shocked me.
I can’t blame them because they were isolated & abused.

@eli_irl_ Right, people from a country that cannot come together to fight terror!sm are speaking about a country that removed a president who passed martial law and sent him to prison? I need them to shut up.
