In addition, a friend reached out on my behalf via WhatsApp on Monday 25th of May 2026 (which was the following week) to escalate the issue, and He was told to contact CeraVe directly instead.

I was told and I quote “can I prove the product is fake,” after which my request for a replacement was refused.

I followed up again through Instagram messages and did not receive any response. I also sent an email on Wednesday 20th of may 2026 regarding the issue,

which is why these differences immediately stood out to me.

I reached out via Instagram to report this issue on Tuesday 19th of May 2026. The person in charge of your IG account called me and after explaining my concerns and observations about the product,

The product appears different from what I am familiar with. The texture is more watery than usual, it does not foam at all, and the smell and look is also different. I have used this cleanser before and know how it typically feels and performs,

At this point, there has been no meaningful attempt to address my complaint across multiple channels of communication. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, especially considering this is a skincare product applied directly to the skin.
