@Stan_Incarnated 100% agree that protestors shouldn't disrupt public life but please stop giving engagement to such wildly exaggerated claims. You don't even have to fact check everything. Just look at the bio of that account. It literally says "professional instigator".
@fading1men Is there a way to fact check this? I seriously doubt any protestor blocking the road would hear "my wife is in labour" and not move immediately.
@vivianamarie02@HektorsMan@BamberSaudiel Just because defense is a constitutional role doesn't mean all the spending towards it is justified and actually needed.
@R0NALD0FC@Tis_Charmin_Man@Cheebail When Ronaldo was making his debut, Portugal was already bigger than all the countries you mentioned. They were definitely an up and coming force in Europe, and one of the favourites to win Euro 04 as hosts (and Ronaldo was not a major factor in this).
@R0NALD0FC@Tis_Charmin_Man@Cheebail Had they done the job and beaten Greece on home soil, Figo, Deco, Ronaldo etc would've become heroes.
When they won the final it wasn't even Ronaldo that won it. But he became the hero because there weren't any other stars in the team to take the limelight.
@allas_FCB@NotIMP19 Comes down to how much you value G+A, which admittedly is an unfair comparison but Ronaldo's numbers to are too insane to overlook.
@allas_FCB@NotIMP19 I agree with the notion that he's nowhere near Messi but he definitely deserves the no. 2 spot. His achievements and numbers outweigh any eye test based reasons to argue for him to be lower.
@allas_FCB@DianaKristinne I don't know anything about this party but in general, I think a party can be tolerant towards LGBTQ but still be far right. You don't have to be far right on each and every issue to be far right.
@UtdMaI The best player award is not the "player with most goal contributions award" dumbass. Just stop following football (I say "following" because I don't think you actually watch). Watch some other sport which a lot more about numbers like Cricket or something.
@UgwunnaEjikem Goalscoring, playmaking and dribbling all have different GOATs. Messi is the only one in all 3 conversations. Goals and trophies are one thing, and they're quite close in that aspect. But if you actually watch them both play across their careers, Messi is miles clear.
@whosgenrul@AjSeesGhosts When you're scoring 40-50 league goals a season a lot of them are bound to be meaningless. So just comparing their league goals hardly reveals anything. What is revealing, is in the 9 seasons Ronaldo spent in La Liga, he won 2 league titles while Messi won 6.
@YRNBrxnt_ "Dragged". Wasn't the best player of the tournament or even his team in any of those tournaments. Also, 6 World Cups, not a single one where he has among the Top 10 players. Others from "irrelevant" nations made their mark like Forlan, James, Modric, Haaland etc but not him.
@solarrriized 2014 Germany was in the Group Stage. How is that "unlucky"? Could've still made it past the group stage. The other two teams were Ghana and USA.
