@lady_valor_07 I'd recommend naming him after ancient kings, such as Nebuchadnezzar, Ashurbanipal, or Esarhaddon. You could also go with Napoleon or Genghis/Chinggis Khan
@graciouslykait There actually was a time I was able to hit that note as well. At one of the choir festivals we hosted when I was community college, I got my director’s approval to sing either a Bb5 or a C6 (I forget which one it was) at the end of (I think it was) a spiritual we were singing.
“I would like to express my condolences to all of Daniel Naroditsky’s loved ones. […] I have never made any personal attack or insult towards Daniel Naroditsky.”
*Proceeds to then double down on his cheating accusations against Daniel Naroditsky.*
@EmilSutovsky One would think a GM, let alone the CEO of FIDE, would have calculated the potential avenues of interpretation through which the language they used in a social media post would be received and reconsidered.
You also should have considered protecting your players sooner.
RIP Sensei.
This one hurts… I learned so much from Danya’s content, and I’ll miss his incredibly detailed analyses, his wit and sense of humour as a commentator, and his genuine personality. He was a massive inspiration to me in my chess journey and will be sorely missed.
The Naroditsky family shares the sad news of Daniel’s unexpected passing. Daniel was a talented chess player, educator, and beloved member of the chess community. We ask for privacy as the family grieves.
