I’ll cheer for the end of the studio. They butcher the IPs we loved. Now they can no longer do so. I’ll feel bad for some of the lost jobs other I don’t.
They created the games that failed. They are partially responsible just like EA and BioWare.
People losing jobs sucks, it’s part of life. If they were competent at their jobs they will be fine. If they were not, well then they might of just been part of the problem and should look for a new field to work in.
You got it wrong brother. We don’t like that EA was sold to a bunch of oil rich sand Mexicans. We just think that they will do a better job at preserving our hobbie than a bunch of mentally ill leftist freaks.
I would prefer it be an American company that would charish its fans and nurture the industry and not owned by any foreign entity. Sadly, the Americans who did own it failed to do so.
@ImModulix@KonomiNekonishi Word, that’s not really clear when you respond to me saying to stop fucking troons with 0 context you’re referring to OP. Carry on.
Yes. 1.5% of every citizen on the census and 7.5% of households nationwide wide.
You are correct in saying that 30% of confederate families owned slaves across the 11 states if you want to exclude half the country when slavery was legal nation wide. Guess what that’s still a minority by a significant margin.
my point doesn’t change, the idea that “everybody basically owned slaves at the time” is a wildly inaccurate statement.
I don’t think a lot of people understand what ‘wokeness’ is.
They do make a good comparison but not for the reason you think.
Cyberpunk just added the characters and themes. They didn’t preach it, it didn’t feel forced, and its creators did not attack fans.
Vailguard it felt forced, sacrificing quality storytelling to achieve a message. Its creators attacked fans publicly. They mocked the very people who they were trying to sell their product to.
‘Wokeness’ is not simply the presence of lgbt, it’s not women in powerful positions.
It’s the sacrifice of quality to push a leftist agenda, it’s the passing on qualified employees to reach diversity quotas. It’s changing established lore to insert characters and themes into established IP to spread an agenda.
Besides that Cyberpunk is a beautiful game with great writing.
Vailguard was a shit game through and through. Created by the people who push ‘wokeness’. Wokeness did kill off BioWare. It had infested the company to its core.
Also Cyberpunk being trans coded is not the dunk you think it is, lol. It’s a dystopian technocratic hellscape filled with raw degeneracy and human suffering.
What? No. A very small minority of people owned slaves.
Only about 1.5% of citizens owned slaves (7.5% of households) in the US.
As far as slave trades go in human history the US slave trade was rather tame.
The Transatlantic Slave trade was pretty bad (the US got a very small fraction of the people enslaved at the time)
The worst stretch of uninterrupted slavery is actually Korea by a pretty large Margin.
