@JennMGreenberg I'm old enough to remember when Phil Crane slept with a house page and got reelected so conservatives lost the moral high ground decades ago.
@ChadWilbanks@JohnCornyn John wanted the job too badly. Instead of preparing a younger bench he hung on for that fifth term in spite of obvious unpopularity.
He became furniture - so whatever that does to the R/D split in congress . it's on him.
The Legal profession is a cartel. Judges are largely comprised of lawyers incapable of building a practice who are funded by the plaintiffs' bar to award exorbitant amounts.
We just had a plane crash in Maine that killed the wife of one such partner who contributed $40 million to the university of Texas football program.
So don't tell us this is money paid to the victims.
They are also the one law firm that should know more about risk than perhaps anyone in America. Yet they let that plane take off with those innocent people on board. Do you think they're going to give up their money for this? No, the cartel only takes. It will be someone else's fault.
@DanIsett By all accounts he is a great kid. No way he would've gotten this far if he was a troublemaker, or a fake. I'm glad Texas Tech is standing behind him. I suspect the real culprits here are the universities of Indiana and Cincinnati
@AnthonyMKreis I met John Ratzenberger at the 102nd birthday party for the gentleman he played in the movie, Lieutenant James Megellas.
John said it was the greatest role he ever played and the greatest honor he ever had.
It left because it was a terrible experience for the fans. Nothing around it, very difficult to get to it and if the weather goes bad it's even worse.
I don't know why everyone cares that somebody wins with a low score. Brand new greens won't be as difficult as they will once they mature and can be tricked up for the pros.
