When I lived in Singapore, Albirex won everything.

Started following Singapore football again recently and it took me a while to figure out what had happened to them. FC Jurong signing Keisuke Honda helped me join the dots!

@nothing_vlr @JakartaCasual Thanks, really useful. Sounds like I've got quite a few names to look up! Good to know about Jurong too, always seemed a shame that a team doing so well domestically couldn't represent Singapore in Asia.

@nothing_vlr @JakartaCasual The imports point is interesting. Pennant signing for Tampines was a huge story just as I arrived in Singapore. Hopefully the quality of imports has moved since then!
Genuine question as well, with Albirex becoming FC Jurong can they now represent Singapore in AFC competitions?
