@spacanpanman@thekookreport@CatSE___ApeX___ just sharing in case you didnt see this! The article frames his comments like as a negative for D2D, but isn't this bullish? Satellite bundled into all plans means easy money vs a la carte signups, no?

At even $1 per month going to Asts, that's more than $1 billion a year in revenue just from US partners -- and none of the headaches associated with actually needing to "sell" subscriptions
@TMFAssociates This has always been the preferred business model. Instead of having to market the service or sustain sales, it's a part of a bundle which customers come to expect
@TMFAssociates “Pretty much no one buys satellite standalone; they buy it as part of the premium package, which gives you a bunch of other benefits, global roaming, ad-free Netflix, etc.," he said.
@hellolynna21876@TMFAssociates For once, he isn't criticizing the company. He's pointing out an error in reporting. The article states thay ASTS must launch half the constellation by August of this year, which is impossible. The real FCC grant states August 2030
“Don't ask him how he got here, he simply is—
tumbling, naked, head over ass over head.”

@NesztingerA@spacanpanman This feels like a standard "sell the news" play, after a quick runuo the last few weeks. I wouldn't read too much into it. Asts is going to remain volatile until the constellation is up and they're earning money
@spacanpanman Share price definitely got ahead of itself in the last run up, a pullback was overdue. But this is where we establish our new floor to springboard off of as the company continues to execute. Doesn't change anything about the long-term story or opportunity. Long $asts
@kingtutcap I think our floor now is probably somewhere around $60-$65. Sucks to see the pullback, but I believe in the long-term vision so this is just a minor setback while they execute. Share price definitely got a bit ahead of itself
