Originally from South Carolina, Eddie recently made the move to California after spending time working in both Florida and Texas. He brings years of experience working as an electrician and supreme fabrication skills with him. We are so excited to have Eddie on the team!

A big welcome to our new addition to the Tenji team, Eddie Watson! As our new LSS Installer, Eddie travels to job sites to make all of our design team’s dreams come to life. Eddie has already been on deployments and brings support to our busier-than-ever field operations team.

Take a peek at one of our recent site visits to The Marine Science Institute @sfbaymsi to get an early look at what the “before” of the project looks like. We are excited to be working with the Institute to upgrade their aquarium exhibits as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.

One of the most important steps in Tenji’s design process is learning the space we are working with. To that end, we’ve started incorporating 360° imaging into our initial site visits.

With the 3D scan, we are able to take additional measurements of the space once we get back to the Tenji office. This resource saves time and allows for greater flexibility in the design process.

Although the signs were created last year, the installation needed to wait until it was warm enough outside. We loved getting a chance to incorporate beautiful artwork by Trudy Nicholson and a custom map from @RhumblineMaps into the design.

Another day, another LSS installation…

Team Tenji was onsite last month working on the installation of a new system that we are very proud of! This project includes two touch tank display systems: one for tropical sharks & rays and another for other temperate invertebrates.

The back of house area will include two large quarantine systems for the sharks & rays, as well as another smaller one for the invertebrates. Lastly (but no less importantly) the BOH will also have a large water mix tank and a freshwater holding reservoir.
