@TylerRatcliff17 Retired 1SG who was a mentor to me when I was a private:
"Best thing for the country. Worst thing for the Army."
He had enlisted just after the end of the Vietnam draft and got to see first hand how much separates draftees from volunteers.
@Sassafrass_84 Be yourself. If you voted for socialism, live your truth. Do what you're told. Don't go to nice capitalist restaurants. Don't wear nice clothes or accept money for your labor above & beyond welfare. Redistribute your wealth. Don't think for yourself. Do what you're told.
@Notwokenow Leftist are ambivalent toward the US according to who's in the Oval Office.
They don't think of themselves as Americans though they might have been born here. They think of themselves as enlightened socialists and look down on patriotic Americans.
@Jingoman111 I've met Vietnam Vets (multiple) that told me they enlisted specifically to go to war. They wanted Vietnam. Did their enlistment, then moved on with life.
@AWRHawkins As long as you can hit what you aim at - any pistol is viable for self defense.
Don't forget .22LR hush puppy suppressed pistol was used by SF in Vietnam to smoke VC & NVA. And that caliber is still in service.
Hit what you aim at - that's what's important.
@SaltyGoat17 As long as it's specifically against islam I'm for it.
Otherwise we're letting the marxist trick us into attacking Christianity by shutting down our Convents and Monasteries.
@JayJosephVet My M16 & M4:
Plastic & aluminum. Only the barrel is iron. Feels lightweight and not meant for abuse.
M14:
Iron & wood. It has the weight and feel a rifle should. It feels like it was built for a fight.
In the short time I carried one in Iraq I loved it.
"Battle Rifle"
@VIVALDI_4_@antikommunistic That's because Slick Willie and the rest of the communists here in the US in the 80s & 90s waged a political war to gut American manufacturing and move it to china.
EPA is nothing more than one of the attack dogs they used in their lawfare campaign against US producers.
