Tite Kubo says he personally listened to and selected all the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War theme songs from the demo stage onward.

"Throughout the series, I wanted to have as many newer artists as possible perform the themes. Part of my thinking was that I wanted viewers to discover these artists through Thousand-Year Blood War and then become fans of them afterward."

jo0ji, who performed "Yoake no Uta" in JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3, will be in charge of the final part's opening.

Kubo said: "For the final cour, we received more song submissions than ever before, perhaps the most we've had during the entire project. Since this is the final cour, I wanted a song with a strong impact."

"What I liked most was the sheer force and intensity of the track. And each time we talked about it, the song kept getting better and better. Every time a new version came in, it only strengthened my feeling that this was the right song for the final cour."
