-Warmonger in your Devil May Cry cartoon is the only apparent religious person, a Christian.
-Religious individuals in every Castlevania game are dedicated to fighting evil, you have made them almost exclusively corrupt and evil in your Netflix cartoon too,
-those who are good have blatantly reached ambivalence and have themes of doubting their faith.
You know Adi, its fine to dislike religion, I am not even a Christian and no real stake in this. But at least have the decency to not lie to people's faces...its off-putting.
Why does it always go into this direction lately?
Was it REALLY necessary to put a Racism/migrant-displacement/Genocide allegory in DEVIL MAY CRY!?!?
That’s like putting an Anti-gun message in Halo.
Lady isn't an aggressive spiteful character just for the sake of it,her anger is fueled by her family trauma and the pursuit of revenge, something the netflix show creators seemed to not understand?
Also like Clockwork - I got people telling me that Devil May Cry's music from the games - except 5 - suck and the nu-metal for the Netflix series is better.
At this point - just tell me that you haven't actually listened to the music of the games.
Great thing about this dmc discourse, at the very least, is slopsumers can't wiggle out with "tch, they're adapting literal pixels with no story!" Like they do with Castlevania
My feed is flooded with people losing their minds at how bad the Netflix DMC is and how it doesn't understand the characters
But like, the guy behind it tweeted out months ago that he believed Vergil was an Anti Hero because he's smart
The writing was on the wall from the start
