Tenterden Rotary Club News
An excellent presentation to Tenterden Rotary Club at the Woolpack, Tenterden, last night. Members enjoyed a fascinating insight into the world of the volunteer car and motorcycle drivers who support hospitals across Kent when they urgently need blood, plasma, medical supplies, or breast milk delivered.
SERV (Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers) is one of those remarkable but often invisible charities that operates quietly under the radar - yet their contribution is absolutely vital, saving countless lives every year.
We also learned how SERV Kent Bloodrunners works closely with other regional SERV groups across the country, ensuring 24/7 national coverage and seamless support for the NHS and emergency services.
A huge thank you to Trevor Sayer from SERV Kent Bloodrunners for sharing his experiences and stories with us.

Thank you, Tenterden Wildlife!
A big thank you to Tenterden Wildlife for their fantastic work out in St Michael’s this week — along the A28 and Chalk Avenue — planting purple crocus bulbs donated by Tenterden Rotary, along with a wonderful mix of wildflower seeds.
It’s amazing to see our local volunteers working together to make these areas even more beautiful and wildlife-friendly. We can’t wait to see them brightening up the verges in spring
