Last night, our long-range sanctions once again reached the Moscow region – for the second time this week, the Moscow oil refinery was hit. Targets were also struck in the Rostov region and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This is a fully justified response to Russian attacks on our cities and communities, and another important result of our warriors’ work against facilities that sustain Russia’s war machine. I thank our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine for their coordinated efforts – the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, Defense Intelligence, and our missile brigade for their precision.
In recent days, all of our partners have noted the precision and effectiveness of our mid-range strikes and long-range sanctions. It is time the war ended, and Russia must take the necessary steps in diplomacy.
BREAKING: 🇨🇳 China's weapons under fire: Top military developers disappear after combat failures
A report claims several senior Chinese military scientists, weapons designers, and defense officials have been removed, investigated, or vanished from public view following the reported poor performance of Chinese made air defense systems in recent conflicts.
The alleged failures have sparked fresh questions about the combat effectiveness of some of China's most heavily promoted weapons programs.

⚡🇨🇳🇯🇵 China could overwhelm Japan in a future war despite Tokyo's massive military buildup, a new report warns.
Japan has increased defense spending by more than 50%, but war simulations by the Hudson Institute found that the country could still suffer devastating losses in a conflict triggered by a Chinese blockade of Taiwan.
The report says China's military can launch thousands of missiles and guided weapons against Japan every day, while Japan faces a shrinking population and a fighter fleet far smaller than Beijing's.
Researchers argue that simply buying more traditional weapons won't be enough. Instead, Japan must rapidly deploy swarms of cheap attack drones, underwater drones, and autonomous systems designed to turn any Chinese offensive into a prolonged and extremely costly fight.
The warning was blunt: Even with higher defense spending, Japan could still fail to stop large scale Chinese attacks unless it fundamentally changes how it fights.
