@robbiehendricks Had a buddy who worked there or similar in a software role. They pay lower than market rate, have worse hours/culture than most tech cos, and offer no equity. No wonder kids don't want to work there.
@frankdilo Ideally the feature requires enough design/systems thinking that a model will do a shoddy work one-shotting it (eg: implement semantic search in an existing chat app)
@frankdilo I’ve been interviewing for a couple of weeks at startups in nyc. I think the most revealing type of interview has been the kind where I was asked to implement a medium-sized feature, in an existing codebase, with all AI tools allowed, over 2-3hrs, in person at the office
if anyone at @railway is reading, I would suggest adding a warning when moving a service to a new region. Is should tell the user they might want to move their other services too!
