procreate was built by a small indie team, is a fairly affordable one time purchase, is used by industry professionals and has a firm stance on generative AI unlike some other art programs (looking at one company in particular lol)

AI is bad for the environment, but we also shouldn’t downplay how embarrassing it is to pretend you wrote a book you didn’t actually write. It’s childish delusion on full display by grown adults.

Saying you’re an AI writer is like saying you’re a Call of Duty soldier.
