@joierozs Ah, fair enough! I was lowkey proud of the condom because my tl and fyp was quiet and not engaging in unnecessary fights this week, but I probably just had the discourse nodes muted.
@joierozs That being said, I do think people are getting better at it, which is why random tweets complimenting him are getting people jumped for ‘shade’. (Might also just seem that way because I have them all + C fans I find annoying muted tbh)
@joierozs Agreed. Muted every pink ⭕️ on sight and experience here has been so much better. There are still several people here who love discourse and will screenshot it (so now I have to see it too) and waste time going back and forth with these people.

(This is a joke btw. I’m sure he primarily went because it’s a great movie but I’m still manifesting my Los Javis project)
Seeing people post collages of movies that came out this year and didn’t break even (many didn’t even make back budget) to argue when you know they didn’t fork out any money to see them on the big screen <<<<<
when no Black ppl are nominated for an acting Oscar this award season, I don’t really care to entertain “#Oscarssowhite” commentary…there’s so much good Black films that have come out this decade that many of yall still havent seen, instead of begging, go invest in what you want
Author Ryu Murakami, whose edgy works explored sex, violence, and youth culture, has died, his publisher said Friday. He was 74. https://t.co/TdWSrRS1Kl
Derek Jarmen’s sets are the biggest winner of the new restoration. I’ve seen this movie before a couple of times, but seeing this new transfer on the big screen I almost said “Oh my god” out loud a couple of times when it cut to an establishing shot of the sets.

But I too would be pissed if the undergrad I let into the tiny defence lawyer documentary conference put my speech and my clients’ faces in the NYT op-ed section. And I would not be happy with an employee that got taken for a ride by a(n admittedly ambitious/talented) 22yo
Suggest people actually watch the short film for themselves to see how much they agree with this framing of the situation: https://t.co/OaMreP8DW0
(Imo the issue here is the bad ethics of not informing them he intended to publish with the NYT. Not theft)
There is no misrepresentation of the source of the documentary stills/clips he used because the techniques used make it clear what’s his and what’s the subject’s work. There’s no espionage/covert downloading of the video bc it’s fair use of materials in the public domain.
From last night’s Breaker: Daniel Kolitz, whose Harper’s piece “The Goon Squad” won a National Magazine Award for Feature Writing, has landed a book deal with Farrar, Straus and Giroux to write “GOONWORLD.”
