This might not be our preferred racing format but it is the best we can do safely in the current environment! Great to see high school kids get the opportunity to have a “race”. And just as exciting and stressful to be there as an organizer rather than a runner! @twincitytc

Pretty interesting setup for this meet.

- Runners spaced apart about 8 feet apart.

- Move up the start row every 10 seconds.

- Goal is have at least 10 feet of distance between runners on the course.

Out at Jamison Park this evening for a 5 Dollar 5K, sponsored by the Twin City Track Club. It’s an unattached event for area high school runners, serving as a tune-up for the cross country season beginning in Nov. Look for a @JournalNow story tomorrow.
