Kenya is inviting the world to experience running at its source, from the soil that produces legends; from communities where athletics is lived, breathed, and passed through generations. Happy to voice support for our bid to host @WorldAthletics Champs 2029/31.
Echoes of good governance are exhibited by dedication to systems and structures. Pleased to join @OlympicsKe during the 2025 AGM convened in accordance with the NOC-K Constitution and led by Pres. @MalukiShadrack_@HKayangeOGW@iocmedia

Leadership, vision and the future of Africa taking center stage 🇰🇪🌍
President of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya, Shadrack Maluki , delivered his remarks to distinguished dignitaries during the ongoing Africa Forward Summit at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
Highlighting the importance of sport in shaping communities and nations, he emphasized that:
“Sports is more than competitions, it is a powerful force that unites people, transforms lives and inspires nations. Athletes must always remain at the centre of every conversation and every decision we make because they are the heartbeat of sport.” Shadrack Maluki
This was a powerful moment of dialogue, shaping a stronger future for Africa through leadership, innovation and unity.
In advancing the IOC mission to build a better world through sport, we have also learned something simple yet powerful: sport is not just a social good—it is a driver of development, opportunity and economic growth.
