I do not understand how people have little kids with two full time working parents.
Even once they hit school age, there’s random breaks. Sick days. WHOLE SUMMERS unaccounted for.
One parent always ends up being the “default” and then they are also supposed to work FT?
@mattsevits Sharing heavy real life things is completely and totally fine. You have been through something horrible- I’d be more worried if you weren’t sharing. Sending you all the love.

Essential reading re: disparities in health care. Also a reminder that AB still follows #breastcancer screening guidelines based on a faulty study. @JasonCoppingAB we need screening to start at 40! But we also need proper data collection & better training. #bcsm#healthequity
If @cantaskforce guidelines were based on research and not a faulty study, my #breastcancer might have been caught before it spread. Asking @JasonCoppingAB to please give screening access to anyone age 40+ and help save lives (and health care costs)! #CancerScreening#abhealth
@katiessummerss I didnt feel like it was truly real until I brought my double rainbow baby home from the hospital. Pregnancy after loss is such a rollercoaster.
@JLisaYoung My daughter is in kinder now and I just can’t handle this…my son is too young to get vaccinated. How do I explain to my daughter that the folks who are supposed to make rules to keep us safe won’t make rules to keep her safe?
