@AndyHermanNFL Considering the importance of field position in today’s game, does there need to be more priority placed on having a dedicated punt returner on the roster even if they don’t fit the normal WR size thresholds?
@RossUglem I just meant that the team can block the interview. The Cowboys blocked their non-play-calling OC from interviewing for a play-calling OC job. I agree that a play-calling job is more attractive!
@AllbrightNFL You can safely ignore Vikings fans. They still celebrate Barr breaking Rodgers’ collarbone in 2017 as one of their greatest sports moments.
@AaronNagler@AndyHermanNFL Loved the reasoning behind why it makes sense to let LaFleur see this edition of the roster through the next couple years. Reflects exactly how I feel.
@zachkruse2 If they can’t work something out (and I’m not saying give MLF carte blanche) then I’m even MORE concerned about the Packers future. Can’t be cheap and remain competitive in this NFL landscape.
@perri_goldstein Which is why while I understand the questions surrounding LaFleur’s ceiling as HC, I don’t think the best move is to break the LaFleur-Love combo at this stage of Love’s development. Glad it’s not ultimately my decision to make.
@TylerHerrick Thank you. People keep pointing out how LaFleur hasn’t gone far enough in the playoffs the last few years, but they forget that he’s had the youngest roster three years running and still got them to the playoffs each year. How many other HCs do that much?
