The world is so much bigger than our small backyard. After graduating HS in Granbury TX, Maxwell moved to Germany where he has almost completed his degree in industrial engineering. Tomorrow he begins a semester abroad in Leon, Nicaragua, taking engineering courses in Spanish.
"Regardless of the cause; whether it's straight-line winds, or something else, we just want to take care of the people," American Red Cross Disaster Program Manager Jen Edwards said. https://t.co/aIdRZkEzND
Today was the final day of STEAM Carnival. We are already planning for next year. How can the whole event be more student facilitated? Students teaching students, the best learning experience for everyone. #R11STEAMCarnival@ESCRegion11@GHS_CTE

Day one of our 2023 #R11STEAMCarnival was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who attended and helped make this an inspiring, interactive learning experience.
@cjtackett Wow! That would be wonderful in their church/ building of worship... but not is a building that is supposed to represent people of all religions or no religion. Government and Education should not favor a specific religion because that therefore excludes everyone else.
There are so many opportunities for those who aren't afraid of something different. Maxwell, GHS class of 2018, is studying Industrial Engineering in Germany (where tuition is free). Chloe is studying Bio Materials. 75% of the degree programs are taught completely in English.
Our Pre-K and 3rd grade students are graduating high school. This doesn't make us old, does it? I love the tradition of seniors walking the halls of their elementary school. @granburyisd@emmaelem
Granbury ISD's band program is amazing. 7 years ago these students didn't know how to read music or play their first note. Listen to them now. https://t.co/PnjMpy7NC3 What amazing teachers and dedicated students

Tonight Granbury honored the Top Scholars at GHS and the teachers who are most important to them. Most of the students said the teachers made a difference because they listened, they cared and together they built a personal relationships. #GEFtop25@GHS_Bodine@GHS_CTE
