@baltibirds20 This feels very ‘next gen’ to me, Inknow UE5 is criticised for performance but this is a great demo for them. I don’t know anything about these nanite and lumen technologies but they seem to scale impressively well on this title. I
Are we all in agreement that the chant is no longer:
“He signed for Villa, from Carrow Road”
But now:
“He scored for Villa, in Istanbul”
We ought to celebrate his wonderstrike rather than Norwich

@hewantswealth This is absolute pie in the sky. But agree we need to expect there to be no state pension by the time we retire so best to start planning now.

🎙️ “Do you want to return to Spain?”
🗣️ “I only consider places where I am wanted, and I am wanted at Aston Villa. You have to be grateful when people want you where you are, and above all, you have to make sure they continue to want you there. So no, not at all.”

If you’re a UK adult and you’re not using a Stocks & Shares ISA…
Why not?
You can invest up to £20,000 per year.
✅ No capital gains tax
✅ No dividend tax
✅ No tax on withdrawals
And you don’t need to be some stock-picking genius.
You can simply buy a low-cost ETF and let compounding do the heavy lifting.
For example:
£200/month invested into the S&P 500
Assuming 10% annual returns:
After 25 years = £265,000
Of which £205,000 came from growth.
Tax-free.
The best time to start was years ago.
The second-best time is today.
So whilst it’s tipping with rain today - do some financial planning would you?
Nobody is going to do it for you.
Danny Drinkwater headbutted Jota Peleteiro during his time on loan at Aston Villa.
Jota went on to retire football at 30 and now owns agriculture technology business worth £3bn with his own net worth approaching a billy.
Danny now drinks water on a building site.
