Hey @Zirene If I could ask, How difficult would it be to go back in and 'update' some of the item models that kind of got done dirty back when the HD characters came out in WoD?
I assume most hood style helmets share geometry, would updating it 'fix' all the hoods that use it?
@7ellas1@Blizzard_Ent Well, this loop only exists because its level 20 cap.
Presumably people wouldn't want to catch bans on characters they've invested hundreds, if not thousands of hours into.
@TheoryWiseOS Hey would you make a short of the "every time the dev's call it Classic+" segment of your video, Need something to link people every time they go "Wow Forever isn't Classic+"
@daveatano I'd be intrigued to see them take a crack at 'updating' the HD models to be more in line graphically with what the originals conveyed.
But the priority should be the SD models and the art direction of the game being built for the SD models and world.
@Adartaer@Goonus443092@AggrendWoW Yet, it's built off Classic. If paying homage to the iconic graphics is as important as was said at Blizzcon, Preserving the orignal art direction means assets be made to replicate it.
Small nitpicks aside, The game feels great. Never thought I'd be this hyped to play wow again.
@Chomag77@hujo0900@Stiven_SRB Better, in polygons sure. But better for classic? No.
You'd be taking high-res character models and dumping them into a low-res world, and gear. Having inconsistent art is incredibly jaring.
Classics art direction was a unique look, with visual consistency. It works just fine.
@JK7090119197162@N_Tys26 Their ToS explicitly tells you this is not the case. We've never been free to re-emulate the game without fear of repercussion.
It sucks don't get me wrong. But it wouldn't be accurate to say your purchase entitles you to redistribute the games data that's still under copyright.
@Oceaniz96 To be fair the story has always mostly been a loose rationalization of why we should hunt something at any given moment.
Stories 3 got me thinking if they could do an end game system revolving around balancing an ecosystem. Culling over-populations, collecting eggs and such.
@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual The only purpose for 60% enrichment is weapons grade material. The majority of the world uses well below 5% enrichment for Nuclear Power use.
JCPOA was only a temporary bandaid, that attempted to push the problem down the road and ignored the state funded terrorism issue.
@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual Stating they weren't building a Nuke is kind of a half-truth. Nuclear fission requires about 90% enriched uranium.
My question, What civilian use is there for 60% enriched uranium? Why build your totally not for war-purposes enrichment facility hundreds of feet underground.

@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual Yeah, We bombed them. Not exactly flirting with what war means.
The IRGC has been brutally oppressing the Iranian people for the last 47 years. Restoration of a Democratic Iran would have been the 'Nat 20' outcome. Sadly I don't think we'll get it.

@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual Its pretty clear they don't have good intentions. For the Iranian people, for their neighbors, or for us.
Should we have started a war with them? Difficult to say, the public doesn't have all the information required to make that assessment.
But what's done is done.

@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual I wouldn't exactly call them a "non-threat" They weren't exactly just peacefully existing until we started bombing them.
Lets not pretend the IRGC aren't bad actors, funding terror cells and weaponizing uranium, while funding an extensive ballistic missile program.

@anthony_luna702@HLC_actual Not agreeing with the War is fine.
But its not a for US Service members in uniform to debate whether going into Iran was the correct choice.
They were called to preform what they were trained for.
Any time we get someone back and they get to come home, its a win in my book.
