Think you’ve got Algae? Maybe it’s weed! Helpful ways to tell the difference!

[EnvAgencyAnglia @EnvAgencyAnglia]

Both algae and weed love this hot, dry weather! But what's the difference between the two? Algae can be toxic, but weeds are harmless. Here are some ways to tell them apart.

If you do spot algae, avoid the water and report it to us: 0800 80 70 60

We re-use, #recycle and reclaim throughout our projects. This ensures that natural #habitats for the #flora and #fauna which rely on our waterways are safe. By monitoring native aquatic planting, we create better #environments in the areas we develop.

[Terraqua ES @TerraquaES]

We’ve been planting up a large urban pond this week with marginal & wildflower plants to improve #habitat & increase #biodiversity #environmentalcontractor #wildlifehabitat
