I have just formally moved my motion to Full Council calling on the Council to back business in Southampton by suspending all parking charges until January. The Council need to do more to secure the post-lockdown economic recovery here in our city.

A small but symbolic achievement. The QE2 Anchor was donated to the city by Cunard. The Council wanted to hide it away in Queen���s Park. As Leader of the Council I insisted it was placed outside Holyrood Church as a tribute to the Merchant Navy. I also think it looks rather good.
